This is the first album by Company Flow, an underground hip-hop unit consisting of El-P, Bigg Jus, and Mr. Len. The inorganic sound production is filled with madness, possessing a destructive power that will send you to another dimension upon a single listen. It's completely detached from hip-hop as club music, and I don't think there was an album this crazy before this one. In Japan, it's a dope classic that could be compared to Shing02's "Green Yellow People." El-P, who produced most of the tracks on the album and raps on almost every song, has a unique worldview that is still revered today as a guiding light for underground artists.
