Antique French Federal Period Trumeau Pier Mirror
-Beautiful antique hand carved solid walnut mirror.
-Dates to the French Federal Period (late 18th century) and were primarily found mounted above the primary fireplace or in a foyer.
-Dimensions are: 18″w x 34″h x 3 1/2″d
-Features two mirrors, while many would have a reverse painted or oil painting in the top pane location.
-Gold painted highlights on carved corner medallions.
-Small spot at very bottom of mirror shows area with mirror loss/haze. Gives a patinated appearance to this otherwise stunning 125 + year old antique.
