Antique Enamel Vase

This is an amazing hand made piece that has seen better days but it still a lot of beauty flaws and all. If you look closely you can see the little chips on the enamel, there is quite a lot of them. Overall this piece looks great and in my opinion the imperfections give it a nice touch of antiquity.

I wish I knew more about this piece such as it’s age or county of origin. The lady who sold it to me only told me that it was “really old” and that she got it from an antique store many moons ago.

The handpainted floral designs are so intricately placed. This vase just has a certain artistic appeal to it and I can certainly see it displayed in a museum.
