Antique Celtic Knot' Green Vaseline Glass Bowl by Jefferson Glass of Ohio. Circa 1905.
This is a beauty! Green Vaseline opalescent double crimped ruffled edge bowl. 6 draped pleated sashes. 3 Celtic Knots, and check out the flower blossom feet from the inside of the bowl. Stunning. The feet are nicely scrolled on the bottom and there are 3 of them. Sits flatly on a table, no rocking. There are press lines on the outside of the glass. Lovely dish to put near a window to glow from the UV rays of the sun, or you can buy a blacklight to make it glow.
MEASUREMENTS:
Weighs 1 lb. 4 oz.
9 1/8" from one down ruffle to other x 3 1/4" tall at high ruffles. 1 1/4" thick.
Amazing antique condition with no chips cracks or knicks as far as I can see. Glows under black light. Wouldn't make a great addition to any Vaseline glass collection or a great gift for any glass collector. Absolutely beautiful Will not be disappointed in this purchase.
