Antique Carved Goldtone & Jade Green Marble 1.5" Balm Locket Pendant
This amazing find features layers of carved goldtone metal designs with a slide cover that reveals a small container for scented balm - could even be used for a small photograph. The top has a jade or green marble stone. The backside only has a "1" marker, no other maker marks, in my research similar pieces were made in France. It measures 1-1/2" in diameter excluding the top ring, 3/4" diameter balm pot.
The condition is as shown in the photographs. The top lid is on a riveted hinge that is loose and can swing side to side.
