Agfa Ansco Box Camera No. 2, 1940s, Pre-War, Antique, Vintage
《Agfa Ansco Box No. 2 and No. 2A》
The No. 2 and No. 2A cameras are a series of basic box cameras manufactured by Agfa Ansco from shortly after the merger of Agfa's US division and Ansco until World War II. These cameras are rebadged versions of the No. 2 and No. 2A box cameras that Ansco had manufactured before the merger. The No. 2 camera uses 120 roll film and takes negatives of the standard 2-1/4 inch x 3-1/4 inch size.
Both cameras are simple box-type cameras with a two-way shutter release lever (i.e., the shutter opens on both the downstroke and upstroke of the shutter release lever) and a basic internal mirror viewfinder.
* I have confirmed that the shutter can be released.
* As I do not know the details of the correct operation or the parts, I would appreciate it if you could understand that this is being sold as a junk item, assuming maintenance and restoration.
* The lens appears to have some cloudiness. However, this is based on my personal opinion, so please consider it as a reference.
* Please understand that there are small scratches and dirt as this is a very old item.
* As this is a simple check, I would appreciate it if you could understand that there may be oversights. Please understand the above points before purchasing.
* □ There may be scratches and dirt due to aging. We are looking forward to your purchase if you understand and enjoy old items. If you are looking for perfection, please be careful.
