One of a Kind Professional Ballet Costume Dress - Handmade for a late 1950s Production of "The Nutcracker" ❄️
As a dancer myself, I was privileged to speak with the woman who wore this special piece as a young ballet dancer in the 1950s. It would have been worn over a puff-sleeve leotard and tutu, but I think that the possibilities for unique modern styling are absolutely endless.
Light blue mid-weight linen/cotton tiered full circle skirt and bib, trimmed in metallic gold ribbon and ric rac, with wide X straps, and back gold button closure.
